The big challenge in photography for me is to catch that one moment when the ordinary is transformed into the extraordinary; that moment that we so often miss because we're too busy doing other things. That is the moment that I hope to capture on film so that at least the memory of it will remain. The world around us is constantly showing these extraordinary things, but so often they pass without being noticed by anyone. It can be a landscape where the layers of mist suddenly are all on the right place, or an animal that suddenly fits in with the surrounding and the light completely. I try to capture as many of these moments as I can and hope that by sharing them, more eyes will open up to the spectacular world around us.
